Michael Kingston (He/Him)

The architect of the modern wrestling comics scene, Kingston released the first issue of his critically acclaimed graphic novel series Headlocked in 2008. Since then, Headlocked Comics has been the premier brand for wrestling comics having been featured in Sports Illustrated, Forbes, and on WWE.com. Kingston has collaborated with over forty wrestlers on stories and art for both Headlocked and its companion anthology series, Tales from the Road. Notable collaborators include cover artist Jerry "The King" Lawler, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Cody Rhodes, Lita, Penta, Christian, Kenny Omega, and Trish Stratus. Kingston also is the writer on the award-winning Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse, Friday Night Bigfoot, and has penned several issues of the WWE comic from Boom Studios including collaborations with AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. He was also the 1109th DDTPro Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion reigning for approximately four hours in 2016.
