Kato Studios + Deamons Leatherworking (She/Her)

Shelby Kato is a Japanese - American born and raised in the Midwest. From a young age she has enjoyed creating art of all forms and sharing the joy it brings with others. Late in 2020, Shelby broke her foot and was unable to work for months. In that time, she started to draw more again and found great joy in her chibi-kawaii style. She explored the possibility of becoming an artist as a living as drawings began piling up and in 2021 opened Kato Studios. She enjoys creating adorable illustrations with even cuter colors, striving to bring a little "cute" into everyone's life and a smile to their face through her artwork.
