Jade Rogers (She/Her)

Jade R. Rogers is a historian, professor, and the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of The House of Afros, Capes, & Curls. “The House” builds community based on a shared love of science fiction, fantasy, comics, gaming, and Afrofuturism, while providing a safe space to explore the artistic, literary, and historic merits of geek culture. Jade is a former Guild Master in World of Warcraft, a storyteller of The Sims, devotee of Octavia Butler, equally a fan of Star Trek + Star Wars and according to Good Morning America a Marvel Super Fan.
